Elf

Elite, and haughty.

Elves consider themselves to be the perfect creations of the Devan. Above all else the elves believe themselves superior to the other races. In Beauty, talent, and even in lethality, they strive to prove their perfection. To them, even killing is an art form. A master assassin to the elves is known for his legendary kills. Difficult targets, impregnable defences, powerful guardians, the harder the job, the more evidence of the assassin’s superiority.

Elf traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

Age. Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.

Alignment. Elves love freedom, variety, and self-expression, so they lean strongly toward the gentler aspects of chaos. They value and protect others’ freedom as well as their own, and they are more often good than not.

Size. Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall and have slender builds. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision. Accustomed to twilit forests and the night sky, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Keen Senses. You have proficiency in the Perception skill.

Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Trance. Elves don’t need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Elvish. Elvish is fluid, with subtle intonations and intricate grammar. Elven literature is rich and varied, and their songs and poems are famous among other races. Many bards learn their language so they can add Elvish ballads to their repertoires.

Sub Races

There are 5 sub-races of Elf, pick one when making your character.

Wood elf

Wood elves were originally created to be the game wardens, scouts, and rangers for the devans. Masters of camouflage, hunting, and stalking, the wood elves are masters of the wilderness. This gamecraft aids them to this day, Wood elf scouts are some of the most feared creatures in the wilderness areas.

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 1.

Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

Fleet of Foot. Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet.

Mask of the Wild. You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena

High elf

High Elves were the Devan’s magical assistants. These Magic adepts worked in devan labs to create, study, and master specialized magic. Many spells were created by high elf masters. giving them an edge in arcane matters.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.

Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

Cantrip. You know one cantrip of your choice from the wizard spell list. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it.

Extra Language. You can speak, read, and write one extra language of your choice

Dark elf

The Dark Elves are subterranean elves trapped long ago with the Dwarves. They have developed a rather sinister bent, believing that all surface dwellers are monsters, or voracious undead. occasionally, Dark elf armies march upon the surface on radical “Purges” bent on removing some aspect of surface civilization that interferes with their subterranean empires. Dark Elves have some of the largest kingdoms on the planet, hidden deep underground.

Superior Darkvision Your darkvision has a radius of 120’

Sunlight Sensitivity You have disadvantage on attack rolls and wisdom (perception) checks in direct sunlight

Drow Magic You know the Dancing Light cantrip when you reach 3rd level you can cast fairie Fire once per day, and at 5th level you can cast Darkness once per day. Charisma is your spellcasting stat for these spells.

Drow Weapon Training You have proficiency with rapiers, shortswords, and hand crossbows.

Eladrin

The Eladrin are the descendants of elves with a fey ancestry. long ago Bloodlines mixed with creatures from the first world. These elves tend to live in areas where the barrier between the material world and the first world are thinnest.

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.

Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

Fey Step. You can cast the misty step spell once using this trait. You regain the ability to do so when you finish a short or long rest

Chaos Elf

When the Devan created the elves, they created several variants of the genome. The Chaos elves are the fifth and final variant. These were created to be living mana dampeners,

Ability Score Increase +1 Cha

Mana Draw As an action you may draw magical energy from the area around you, funneling that energy into the next spell you cast. doing so increases the effective spell level by 1. You can use this ability again after a long rest.
